De Stadskamer is a lunch and drinks bar in the heart of IJsselstein where breakfast, lunch, and drinks come together. Previously, there was only a Facebook page, but there was no central location. There was no overview of the menu, the changing Friday specials, or information about parties, events, and job vacancies. The desire was for a single website that conveys what De Stadskamer is all about, even before you step inside.

Research & strategy

De Stadskamer had a clear identity and a permanent location in the center of IJsselstein, but no online presence yet. Visitors had to gather scattered information via social media. Together, we identified the information that needed to be central: the menu, the weekly Friday special, parties and celebrations, job vacancies, and contact details. The strategy focused on overview, recognition, and experience, with one clear place where everything comes together.

Design & Branding

The design had to evoke the same feeling as the restaurant itself: warm, inviting, and unique. We translated the atmosphere of De Stadskamer into a visual style that matches the interior and the look and feel of the location. By using strong photography, calm layouts, and a clear hierarchy, the website feels familiar and recognizable, as if you were already sitting at the table.

Development & Launch

The website was developed as a fast and accessible custom solution. The menu and Friday specials are easy to manage, allowing changes to be implemented quickly. There is also space for job vacancies, parties and celebrations, and a clear contact form. The website now forms a whole with the restaurant and offers visitors all the information they need at a glance.
